Strongly rooted in South Africa, with headquarters in Sandton, our success was earned through building investment solutions for local pension and provident funds, and later for retail investors. Our investment process has been forged over the past 20 years. Our clients have responded by entrusting us with over R700 billion via our advisory and implemented solutions. Since inception in 1997, our flagship portfolio, Performer has grown five times faster than inflation, providing our investors with real growth through this risk-control framework. An outcomes-based investing approach is an evolution of our trusted multi-manager approach. The environment has shifted and we’re evolving to generate growth in what is an uncertain investment market. In 2014, Mercer purchased a 34% holding in Alexander Forbes and announced a strategic relationship that would benefit both parties. As part of the Mercer Group, Mercer Investments significantly bolsters our offshore research capability.
